COVID-19 updates and preparedness statement
At Thermo King, we recognize that the transportation industry, and transporting temperature-
sensitive goods, is essential to our community, especially during this difficult time. The COVID –
19 outbreak is an ever-changing situation and evolving hourly. Protecting our employees,
customers and vendors is our top priority during this time.
We advise that Thermo King. and TK Heatmo continue to be open for business; however
our office premises, including our reception area, show room and shop, are closed to the
public until further notice. If you require on-site service, please call 780-447-1578 when
you arrive and a service representative will come out to meet with you. We kindly ask
that a minimum distance of 2 metres (6 feet) between yourself and our personnel during
these interactions be maintained.
It is essential that a high standard of cleanliness on our property is upheld. It is a critical part of
maintaining the health and wellbeing of all employees and customers.
If you are bringing units to our facility for servicing, we request that you make prior
arrangements for return transportation from our facility. If you require assistance to arrange this
transportation, please notify our personnel when you arrive. We request that customers take
reasonable actions to clean and disinfect all cabs and sleepers prior to bringing units to our
facility.
Please be advised that for the safety and protection of our staff, we will observe a five (5) day
waiting period after a unit arrives prior to entering the cab of a vehicle. This applies to, but is not
limited to, VMAC, TRIPAC, ESPAR bunks, and Buses. This policy is in effect as of Monday,
March 23, 2020.
We ask that if you are feeling ill or experiencing any COVID-19 adjacent symptoms, as identified
by Alberta Health Services, to please refrain from attending our facility.
This is an ever-evolving situation and these policies may change without notice. We will all work
together to ensure the safety and health of everyone during this difficult time.
